On behalf of our client, a leading renewable energy firm, we are seeking an experienced and detail -oriented Financial Modeller to join their high -performing team.<\/span><\/span><\/b>

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models to support investment decisions, acquisitions, and strategic planning across the business.<\/span><\/span><\/i>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
Responsibilities of the Financial Modeller role:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
Develop and deliver robust and transparent project finance models for investment appraisal, acquisition analysis, forecasting, and debt structuring.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>Mentor and support junior team members in best practices for financial modelling and model governance.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>Ensure data integrity by applying stringent validation processes and incorporating robust checks and controls within all models.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>Review and improve existing models, including those prepared externally, ensuring they align with business needs and financial modelling standards.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/p>
Requirements of the Financial Modeller role:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
A minimum of 3 years’ post -qualification experience, with a strong academic background in a numerate discipline (minimum 2:1 degree).<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>Proven expertise in project finance modelling, with advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of VBA.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>Strong communication skills, with experience in preparing reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>Ability to work collaboratively on multi -disciplinary teams, demonstrating strong analytical and business diagnostic skills.<\/span>
