Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Solar EPC Sales Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in solar sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of solar PV systems and a successful track record of driving EPC project sales. This role involves lead generation, client engagement, proposal development, and contract negotiation to close high-value solar EPC deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify leads for commercial, industrial, or utility-scale solar EPC projects.
- Conduct client meetings and site visits to evaluate feasibility and understand project requirements.
- Prepare and present detailed technical and commercial proposals including system design, costing, timelines, and financing options.
- Lead contract negotiations and close deals in alignment with company goals and margins.
- Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project alignment with client needs and technical standards.
- Maintain strong client relationships and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities in the solar EPC domain.
- Assist in the development of sales strategies to meet business growth targets.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in solar sales, specifically in selling EPC services.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of solar PV technology, EPC processes, and project lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience using CRM tools and sales management software.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and on-site evaluations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience handling B2B sales for solar EPC in commercial, industrial, or utility-scale sectors.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with solar project financing mechanisms.
- Understanding of building codes, local regulations, and permitting processes for solar installations.
