As a Marine Sustainable Procurement Partner, you will work closely with technical stakeholders, commercial stakeholders, external partners, and colleagues internally in Ocean Asset Partnerships. We are a department that takes care of OPEX and CAPEX procurement for the vessels in Maersk’s fleet which means you will get to work with everything from commodities to technical parts. You will be responsible for ensuring that our strategic ESG initiatives across the department run as planned, at deadline, are ambitious and according to necessary standards.
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps to integrate ESG principles within Marine categories and sub-categories globally.
- Translate complex ESG goals into actionable initiatives, delivering measurable impacts across the value chain.
- Communicate initiatives and objectives to the Marine organization, ensuring alignment and engagement from stakeholders.
- Partner with sustainable procurement, category managers and standards experts to embed ESG principles across the organization.
- Support or take ownership of ESG relationships with suppliers focusing on improving sustainability performance.
Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience in Maritime (must) and procurement plus proven experience in Sustainable Procurement/ESG.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- You are curious and have a personal drive to improve the status quo.
- Have an educational background within BSc or MSc in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
