Our national client seeks to appoint an experienced battery tester in line with maintenance and warranty regulations.
Responsibilities include
- To ensure that warranty and associated technical issues are dealt with in a professional, courteous and timeous manner
- To ensure maintenance of tools, equipment and products while in testing phases
- To liaise with Group Warranty & Product Support in order to ensure daily tasks are accomplished within established time-frames
- To collect and/or deliver product to client where applicable, and maintain an effective Public Relations profile with regard to the company
- Ensuring warranty processes and testing are followed from initial collection and paperwork management through to final client resolution, including product disputes/claims
- Analysis and processing of faults within stipulated time frames and procedures
- Immediate communication of issues to relevant supervisors regarding product defects or dissatisfied clients
- Advising management of defective equipment and ensuring repair or replacement of same
- Ensuring that product in bulk stores is maintained at optimum usage level
- Accept accountability for lost, missing or damaged product and equipment
- Record-keeping and tracking of warranty processes
- Ensuring that returns are handled within the allocated time frames
