Position: Sales and Design Engineer
Location: Durban or Johannesburg

Overview:
Join our Clients innovative team as a Sales Design Engineer. We are looking for an adept Electrical Engineer with a strong background in commercial solar energy, poised to drive our solar solutions to new heights.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in commissioning solar installations (100KW and above).
  • Strong sales acumen, with a willingness to actively sell solutions alongside the direct sales team.
  • Proficiency in Solar Design, preferably with Helios Scope (other software experience also considered).
  • Availability for travel (own car required; travel expenses will be reimbursed).
  • An Electrical Engineering degree (B-Tech, BSc, or BEng).
  • At least 3 years of experience in the solar industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Engaging in direct selling of customer-focused solar solutions.
  • Preparing and presenting detailed reports.
  • Commissioning of inverters and hybrid systems.
  • Participating in team networking activities.
  • Involvement in systems design and collaboration across various departments.
