About to Role:
Reporting to the Global Service Director – Solar, the Solar Project Manager will work cross functionally across the organization and will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Solar projects that align with organizational goals. This role requires a strategic thinker and creative problem solver to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This position is part of the Service Department and located onsite in Sterling, VA.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Develop detailed project plans, managing resources, timelines, and scope to ensure successful execution.
- Monitor and track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Prepare, manage, and report on project budgets, ensuring financial control and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Implement and enforce quality control processes, conducting regular reviews to ensure the final output meets both client and company standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns in a proactive and transparent manner.
- Anticipate potential risks to timelines, costs, and quality, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks, keeping projects on track.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing projects, preferably in the solar, hydrology, meteorology, or energy industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration
It would be an asset if you have:
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in stakeholder management and conflict resolution

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $78,000.00 - $85,000.00 USD per year.
