As a Proposal Engineer / Product Engineer, you will be involved in Product team phase to support Business developers team by providing technical solutions, managing suppliers quotation and technical clarification.
You will support the Proposal team on cost sheet file building, collect price and data from suppliers.
You will support the Product team on technical studies in case of non-standard request . You will evolve in several technical domain as safety, compressor, process and local regulation in close coordination with the Product Manager and the Design Authorities and Business Developers. Your tasks would be to support business developers, be informed in new products design, to find local and oversea suppliers, to prepare specification and P&ID within several countries (Korea, Australia, France, Japan).
You would also participate in the project execution phase to follow price and technical changes, and would be able to create, modify and review the technical documentation (P&ID, RFQ, PFD and other).
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Proposal development phase:
1) Price estimation of the product focussing on supplier contacts:
- Build a cost sheet tool based on global proposal team template
- Collect standard price from suppliers, past project, update
- Captalize the global specfications updated
2) Drive a strong and effective capitalization:
- Contact global team for follow improvement of products, updated specification, updated supplier choice
3) Support the development of innovative solutions:
- Communication with local suppliers for the development of technical solutions and for obtaining budgetary quotations
- Write and update components datasheet and technical specification for main equipments
- Technical clarification with Vendors/Subcontractors and technical bid evaluation - Follow-up of Vendor's design documentation submission and internal reviews
- Build specification with the product team members for none standard request
- Create and update the Engineering Drawings such as PFDs, Layout, PIDs, etc.
4) Support Business Developers to build competitive proposals and actively update the cost sheetAnticipate installation and start-up support
5) support Project Execution Team
- Support the project execution Team with regards to Vendor's documentation and manufacturing follow-up
- Follow up projects execution, price change, technical change
- Depending on business needs, domestic and oversea business trip will be required
Are you a MATCH?
Master or bachelor of engineering
Minimum 5 years experience in Gas / Chemical Engineering industry
Fluent in Korea and business level in English
Preferable: Gas 3rd or 2nd Grade (가스기능사 또는 산업기사), Engineer Gas 1st Grade (가스기사) is a plus
