Senior Instructional Designer leads the design and development of comprehensive training programs, collaborating with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective learning experiences across various formats (online, blended, in-person), ensuring quality standards are met, and staying abreast of innovative learning technologies and methodologies;
This role requires expertise in program design, digital learning strategy, instructional design, and global training deployment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzes business learning needs and recommends learning solutions and strategies to address knowledge and/or performance gaps aligned with organizational goals. Contribute to strategy and innovation for cross-platform design, helping to create a cohesive user experience across all platforms
- Design and develop interactive, scenario-based, blended learning assets and solutions including instructor-led and self-paced training, elearning storyboards, microlearning, simulations, facilitator and participant guides, infographics, and job aids using adult learning principles Integrate multimedia elements, simulations, and assessments to enhance learning experiences.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of course content. Use learning analytics and performance metrics to continuously refine programs, ensuring they meet business objectives and drive measurable outcomes.
- Ensure instructional integrity, client style guide and brand standards adherence, completeness, and professional standards of learning solutions throughout the design, development, and delivery cycles.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for training creation and historical documentation, ensuring long-term sustainability
- Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Use superior project planning skills to manage incoming design requests including analyzing policy and process information, creating a project plan, and designing learning solutions. Manage learning projects from analysis through implementation to include maintaining documentation throughout the curriculum design lifecycle
What qualifications will make you successful for this role
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning and Development or 10+years’ experience of progressive experience in corporate training, instructional design, LMS administration and digital learning solutions
- *Applicants are required to submit an instructional portfolio showcasing previous work products and capabilities.*
- Certified in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Ai-driven collaboration, and project management (Agile, PMP preferred or 35 PMI PDU)
- Skilled in blending and implement multiple instructional modalities including ILT, vILT, video, eLearning
- Perform ADDIE at a curriculum level and put pieces together that teach skill sets in a way that is effective and efficient.
- Effectively apply instructional design methodologies and best practices to translate a client business needs to effective learning solutions.
- Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools and multimedia software. (Articulate, Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond)
- Ability to self-manage and produce instructionally sound, quality deliverables at fast pace changing environment
- Experience using quantitative and/or qualitative research methods
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking, analytical, problem-solving skills and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and SMEs in a remote working environment.
- Experience with content creation with different platforms, SCORM/AICC Standards, LMSA Administration and AI- enhanced corporate training solutions.
