PositionSummary:
The(Sr)DirectorofBusinessDevelopment,EnergyStorage,isresponsibleforfurtheringthedeployment of Canadian Solar’s integrated solution for the utility scale Energy Storage market in the UAE. This role is in a key position to grow a new division with an established renewable energy company will drive productive and sustainable relationships with external and internal business partners (both suppliersandcustomers)toensuretheongoingandfocuseddevelopmentandsuccessofourbusiness expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Collect&understandcustomerneeds,markettrendsandinputfromacrossorganizational leadership to align product strategy and roadmap in the Energy Storage market segment.
- Engagewithleadingenergystoragedeveloperswithinthe UnitedStatesandunderstandtheir key business drivers to ensure our product and service offering maximizes value for their portfolio.
- Developproposalsinresponsetocustomerstenderrequirementstoensureourproduct offering is optimized from both a technical and commercial basis.
- Explorenewmarketsegmentsforexpansionofourproductoffering.
- Alignwithinternaldevelopmentanddeliveryteamorexternalsupplierto ensureconsistencyin productandscheduleexpectation.Conductandparticipateinmidtermandfinalproductdesign review to assess product quality
