The Environmental Consultant specialises in preparing approval documentation, site assessments, technical studies and audits for
a range of Environmental management situations and challenges.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing environmental field investigations including but not limited to soil or groundwater sampling and soil vapour assessment
- • Coordinate projects, including budget, scope, time, stakeholder communication and client relationships
- • Preparing technical site reports, with minimal assistance prior to final review from senior management.
- • Oversee contractors and take responsibility for safe and quality field programs
- • Directing and guiding site remediation activities
- • Supporting our EPA appointed Environmental Auditors across industry sectors.
- • Interacting with regulatory authorities
- • Developing comprehensive and competitive technical proposal scopes.
- • Working knowledge of relevant VIC Environmental legislation and relevant contaminated land guidelines
- • Attending industry-based workshops, webinars, and seminars as a company representative
- • Demonstrated understanding and application of the national technical framework such as NEPM (Assessment of Site Contamination)
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in relevant environmental documentation.
- • Complete lab works in line with NATA accreditation.
- • Providing support for less experienced members of the Environmental team
