The Ramboll office in Delft, the Netherlands has an exciting opportunity in their Environment & Health Division for an environmental consultant. The demand from clients to provide environmental, sustainability and safety services is growing, especially in the field of circular economy, renewable energy and industrial and chemical facilities. Ramboll is looking for a driven and resourceful candidate for building our team for environmental consulting.

Joining a team of consultant with a confirmed reputation, client base and professional network, project opportunities will come from across Benelux and Europe providing high level consulting support to our wide range of corporate, industrial, legal and institutional investment clients.
Essential duties of the position include:
- Provide consultancy on environmental due diligence and ESG assessments in relation to transactions;
- Conduct environmental site assessments with site visits as part of due diligence work or compliance audits, as part of local projects or in international teams;
- Provide support as part of the project team for environmental impact assessments, permit applications and evaluation studies;
- Assisting international clients on specific environmental matters, challenges and future developments in case of company changes, expansion, site closure and company strategy;
- Conduct regulatory reviews on Dutch legislation and permit procedures, standards, guidance, and reporting frameworks;
- Report writing in Dutch and English;
- Practical approach and effective communication with colleagues and clients.
Required Skills and Attributes:
- BSC or MSc degree Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science for Sustainable Energy and Technology;
- Around 1 – 3 years of relevant (consultancy) experience on the duties in the job role above;
- Ability to accurately evaluate information and write reports;
- Ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken Dutch and English;
- Capable of working reliably and effectively within team;
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a high level of accuracy academic rigor;
- Driving license (Type B).
