The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and drive environmental management and training to support operations and enhance environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement environmental tools and training for information systems
- Data analysis for internal and external reporting
- Provide mentorship and coaching to internal team members and assist with environmental compliance and initiatives
- Translate environmental requirements to divisions and operational teams
- Lead training and development of environmental talent
- Support of environmental collection and reporting
- Support and participate in environmental audits
- Support environmental permitting and regulatory applicability assessment
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Science-based or Engineering Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of environmental experience
- Prior environmental consulting, or industrial/manufacturing experience supporting environmental compliance and management systems
- Knowledge and experience with air, water, and waste environmental regulations, permitting, and policies
- Strong Written and Oral Communication
- Experience with project management
- Previous supervisor and/ or leadership experience
