The Role:
As a Customer Relations expert in renewable energy , you will be the face of Bluewater
Energy, engaging potential clients with a consultative approach, understanding
their energy needs, and providing tailored energy solutions that drive both
environmental and economic value.
Additionally, you will plan and coordinate administrative efforts and
information for their various projects.
The Customer Service Representative will work under the Sales Manager with exposure
to different types of renewable solutions.
Lastly, a Sales Representative ensures any required documentation is
obtained and maintained throughout the length of the project, organizes
communications with clients and crews, analyzes project data and produces
progress reports as required.

A Day in the Life
- Prospecting and Lead Generation
- Research and identify potential leads using CRM
systems, online databases, and other resources.
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales
opportunities.
- Cold-call potential clients to gauge interest and
generate new sales opportunities
- Sales Activitie
- Handle inbound sales calls and inquiries from
potential clients
- Timely preparation of quotations and project proposals
- Conduct project presentations in person, over the
phone or via video calls.
- Respond to clients' questions, handle objections, and
provide clarifications
- Close sales and achieve set quarterly and annual sales
targets.
- Client Management
- Maintain regular contact with the sales pipeline to
move leads through the sales cycle.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer
relationships.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions
according to customer needs and objectives.
- CRM and Database Management
- Update and manage all sales activities, notes, and
data in the CRM software.
- Track and measure daily, weekly, and monthly sales
metrics and report on them.
- Ensure that all customer communication is logged and
records are up-to-date.
- Collaboration
- Coordinate with various members of the Bluewater
Energy Team to facilitate and support their selling efforts.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify best
practices and strategies to improve sales performance.
- Collaborate with the technical teams to address project
/ product-related queries.
- Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on product features, benefits, and
pricing.
- Attend regular training sessions and workshops to gain
a deeper understanding of the product or service.
- Relay customer feedback to product teams for
continuous product improvement.
- After-Sales Activities:
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and
gather feedback.
- Resolve any potential issues to ensure customer
satisfaction.
- Upsell or cross-sell services and products when
appropriate.
- Reporting:
- Prepare weekly, monthly, or quarterly sales reports
and present to the management team.
- Analyze sales trends to determine future sales
strategies and areas of improvement.
- Professional Development:
- Attend sales training programs and webinars to improve
selling techniques and product knowledge
- Continuously learn about the industry, market trends,
and competitor activities
Qualifications:
- Post Secondary Education in Sales,
Business Development or Customer Relations
- 3+ years of Customer Relations
- Strong proficiency in Outlook, MS Word,
MS Excell, PowerPoint
- Must be comfortable using CRM
- Must have excellent organizational,
administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Ontario Drivers License
