JobSummary:
TheProjectQualityInspectorisresponsibleforinspectingandverifyingincomingmaterials,
components, andproductstoensuretheymeetthecompany’squality standardsandspecifications.This positionplaysacrucialroleinpreventingdefectivematerialsfromenteringproductionlinesorcustomer sites by conducting thorough examinations and maintaining accurate documentation. The role is temporary, supporting the company's quality assurance efforts during peak periods or specific project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
•Inspectandverifyincomingmaterials,components,andproductsagainstestablishedquality standards and specifications.
•Utilizestandardtools(e.g.,calipers,micrometers,gauges)toperformpreciseinspectionsof received items.
•Recordinspectionresultsinthecompany’squalitydatabase,ensuringaccuracyanddetailin documentation.
•Identifyandreportanydefects,discrepancies,ornon-conformitiesinincomingmaterialsand input findings into the quality database.
•Collaboratewiththeyardteam,internalQualityteam,andexternalsupplierstoresolveany quality issues or concerns as needed.
•Maintainorganizedandaccuraterecordsofinspections,includingdetaileddescriptionsand photographic evidence of defects or non-conformities.
•Supporttheongoingimprovementofreceivinginspectionproceduresbyprovidingfeedback and suggestions for better efficiency and accuracy.
•Adheretoallsafetyregulations,qualityprotocols,andcompanypoliciesduringinspection activities.
Qualifications:
•Highschooldiplomaorequivalent;technicalcertificationsinqualityinspectionorrelatedfields are a plus.
•PreferredexperienceasaReceivingInspectororsimilarroleinqualityassuranceormaterials inspection.
•Strongattentiontodetailandabilitytoidentifydefectsornon-conformities.
•Abilitytoreadandfollowdetailedinstructions,technicaldrawings,andinspection specifications.
•Strongcommunicationandteamworkskills,withtheabilitytoworkeffectivelyacross departments.
•Familiaritywithqualityinspectiontoolsandsoftwareisanadvantage.
•Abilitytoworkinafast-pacedenvironment,adaptingquicklytochangingpriorities.
•Flexibilitytoworktemporaryassignmentsandmeetprojectdeadlines.
