Dryden Fibre Canada is currently accepting applications for Environmental Engineering Summer Students from approximately May to September 2025. The city of Dryden is located on the North shoreline of the Wabigoon Chain of Lakes along the Trans-Canada Highway. It is located midway between Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is surrounded by wilderness, lakes, and landscapes.
Responsibilities of an Environmental Engineering Summer Student:
- Working within a team environment you will work closely with the Environment team during the summer work term.
- You will be exposed to a variety of environmental tasks and will have the opportunity to learn site safety procedures, the operations process, administrative procedures, and resources.
An ideal candidate for this summer student opportunity includes:
- Currently enrolled in an environmental engineering degree program.
- A safety-oriented mindset with the ability to demonstrate strong safety and environmental values.
- Strong computer skills including experience with Excel and Word.
- Ability to provide analytical, administrative, and problem-solving support.
- A valid G driver’s license.
