ABOUT THIS POSITION
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) in Houston, TX or Alpharetta, GA or Arlington, VA
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Americas Benefits Manager to oversee the administration of our employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, severance, and global mobility for our Americas workforce. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulations, optimize processes, and deliver exceptional support to employees while contributing to strategic initiatives.
In this role, you will have the following key responsibilities:
•Benefits Management: Partner to develop, manage, and administer the strategy and operations of the US & Americas employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and life insurance plans.
•Severance Management: Oversee severance processes, ensuring accurate calculation, documentation, and compliance.
•Global Mobility Support: Coordinate Americas aspects of global mobility programs, including policy interpretation, relocation benefits, and tax considerations.
•System Expertise: Maintain and optimize benefits-related systems (ADP Benefits, Workday) to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.
•Data Analysis: Analyze benefits utilization, costs, and trends to recommend program enhancements and ensure cost-effectiveness.
•Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA), manage audits, and prepare required filings.
•Employee Education: Develop and deliver communications to help employees understand and maximize their benefits.
•Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors to ensure high-quality service and resolve issues efficiently.
•Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR, payroll, legal, and other teams to align benefits programs with organizational goals.
•Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance benefits processes and lead the implementation of solutions.

What does the ideal candidate bring to Fluence?- 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, including severance and global mobility.
- Expertise in ADP Benefits and Workday systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP functions.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and support employees.

Candidates hired in this role will receive a competitive salary + bonus + benefits.
