JOB SUMMARY: This position is located at Mojave National Preserve, in the Facility Management Division. The incumbent serves as the Project Manager and is responsible for facility management at the park, with diverse infrastructure, resources, and operational needs. MAJOR DUTIES: MAJOR DUTIES: Utilize Facility Management Software Systems for cost-effective management of assets, and asset inventories and condition assessments for the purpose of developing deferred maintenance costs for annual and multi-year plans. Coordinate project scopes, goals and objectives, facilitate planning and design processes, develop spending plans and budget protocols, manage the construction process and ensure all project documentation is completed and archived. Responsible for safety and training program to eliminate at-risk behaviors and environments and enforce regulatory policies and mandates. Maintain park roads and grounds operations in accordance with best management practices of the NPS Environmental Audit Program and ensure that work on cultural and natural resources is in adherence with approved Historic Preservation Act and NEPA.
