Weston Solutions is searching for an enthusiastic and dedicatedEnvironmentalScientistunder our highly successful US EPA START program. The selected candidate will be provided with a wide range of learning opportunities and field experience to broaden their professional skills, while working on unique assignments for our strategic Client. Our multidisciplinary team participates in a variety of projects under the EPA Removal and pre-Remedial programs, including hazardous waste site investigations, environmental assessments, removal actions, preparedness and prevention planning, emergency response to chemical and oil spills, and other technical assignments.
Travel is required mainly throughout New England.

Knowledge,Skillsand Abilities:
- Minimum of a H.S. degreeis required.A BS degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry,Geologyor other discipline is preferred with 0-5 years of relevant experience.
- 40-hour OSHAHazwopertraining
- Direct on-scene experience with hazardous substances, and oil releases and spills is
- Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Solid organization skills,ownershipand accountability
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and anticipate team needs.
- The successful candidate will also have a strong desire to support the mission of protecting public health and the environment.
This position requiresU.S. citizenshipandthe ability topass applicable background checks and regular drug screenings.
