Esri Global Operations Sustainability Internship

What You'll Do
Our interns have worked on a wide range of exciting projects. Here are some examples of work you may do:

Carbon Analysis: Join global efforts to conduct Scope 1, 2, & 3 emissions evaluations – contributing to the data gathering and analysis of Esri carbon footprint.

Regulatory Awareness: Review and understand environmental, social, and governance (ESG) regulations at local, federal, and international levels which relate to our company operational activities.

Stakeholder Engagement: You will utilize communication skills with internal and external stakeholders on a variety of ESG related topics. This will include direct engagement with employee and corporate individuals, as well as Esri Users.

ArcGIS Software Interaction: Use and implement various ArcGIS products to help support project goals and functions.

Esri User Conference: You may help provide support during Esri’s annual User Conference, which may include interaction with Esri sustainability and/or larger company directives.
Requirements

We look for students majoring in environmental studies or business who are currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s or master’s program at a university in the United States; undergrads must be in junior or senior standing

Available to complete a consecutive, onsite 12-week internship beginning in May or June 2025 in Redlands, CA

Awareness of basic principles of sustainability and experience in environmental science projects and resulting data analysis

Knowledge of ArcGIS Storymaps and HUB
