Blades Life Cycle Management Department within Blades Module is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of products lifecycle commitments. Drive efficient and timely ECR handling across the module, Develop and maintain +2 years line of sight of cost competitiveness models for Blades module, Be one point of contact for life cycle support to the full value chain,Develop efficient, cost effective and safe cost competitiveness idea generation processes that follows Vestas way to market process.Drive timely response to ISM and RNSP's.
Responsibilities
- As an Engineer for LCM, Blade Module you are responsible for Engineer Change Management including drawing and Bill of Material (BOM) which can be robustly manufactured
- Mainly working as part of multi-functional project teams across the value chain
- Design and model large scale composite structures Deliver Engineering drawing & Design BOM at different level of Blade design
Qualifications
- Creating engineering Change request and changes via the Engineering Change Management system - ECM (PDMLink - Windchill)
- Integral Part of Life Cycle Management to ensure support for entire life span of Turbine
- Responsible for Change owner (CAI) and Change execution (CAII)
- Understanding of lay-up tolerance analysis and interference check, Bond line modelling
Competencies
- Solid Practical knowledge in CAD and PLM (Windchill), ideally B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 2-10 years of work experience.
- Experience with high skill in Pro-E and Catia
- Practical hands-on experience in CAD model and drawing of composite structures, large-scale Understanding and experience of composite material manufacturing processes is highly desirable Sound knowledge in GD&T
- Systematic and problem solving-oriented
- Motivated team player who transmits energy and enthusiasm, encouraging a collaborative environment
- Confident and effective communication skills. Self-motivated, strong time management skills Ability to plan, scope and organize work package execution
- Enthusiastic and engaged, willing to go the extra mile
