Shift Energy Group is seeking a Project Administrator to join our operations team in Calgary, AB. The Project Administrator supports project management activities from start to finish. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Administrating project tasks by assigning them to the respective team members and ensuring project notes are consistently updated.
- Ensuring timely completion of project milestones and deliverables. Issuing Purchase orders to third parties
- Preparing and submitting all necessary paperwork for permitting, including net metering, electrical, and building permits.
- Monitoring permitting progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirement
- Assisting in the preparation of project reports and presentations as needed.
- Arranging travel logistics and accommodation for project field crews as required.
- Administering change orders and ensuring proper documentation and communication with stakeholders.
- Administrating project closure activities, including documentation review and final inspections.
Role Demands:
Our residential project installations are characterized by their short-cycle nature and high volume. This role demands proficiency in administrating numerous projects at different stages simultaneously in a high fast-paced environment, with a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a consistent focus on effective communication for each project.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field or an equivalent combination of a high school diploma and five years of relevant experience.
- At least 3-4 years of experience in project administration or coordination in the construction industry is required.
Requirement
- Familiarity with project management software and tools. Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Proficiency in navigating computer software, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Diligent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision

Working Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. This position is 100% on-site and does NOT offer remote or hybrid work options.
