Position Summary
We are looking for a Field Application Engineer - Intern to strengthen our Hydrogen Trailer operations across Europe.
As part of the European Hydrogen Operations department, you will report directly to the Hydrogen Trailer Fleet Manager. Your position will give you the opportunity to;
- Gain knowledge of small-scale hydrogen facilities and logistics.
- Experience the hydrogen operations environment.
- Develop your project management and intercultural communication skills.
- Develop a reference in safety and risk mitigation.
- Strengthen your mechanical expertise for vehicle and gas applications.
- Confirm a credible experience in the hydrogen industry sector.
Your internship will directly contribute to the European Operations Department achieving a key milestone: The development of a standard operation and maintenance system for the hydrogen trailer fleet.
Core duties and responsibilities
Working within the company departments and more widely with external stakeholders, your role as a Field Application Engineer - Intern will be to establish operation and maintenance standards for the reliability of the hydrogen trailer fleet.
You will need to:
- Develop operation and maintenance procedures while ensuring their effectiveness in the field.
- Develop a root cause analysis system and implement improvements in daily operations.
- Manage some of the preventive maintenance and statutory inspections of the equipment.
- Capitalize on standards, knowledge and safety practices.
- Communicate assertively within the organization with clear context, expectations and outcomes on issues.
- Deliver micro-projects in collaboration with core business specialists.
- Gather strength and resources around you to succeed in your mission.
Possible business trips in Europe.

Education and Qualifications
Educational background
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Management or related technical field.
Other Skills
- Mechanical engineering background with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in data structuring, organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation (e.g. drawings, PID, manuals, data sheets, specifications).
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to carry out tasks independently.
- Familiarity with pneumatic, hydraulic and gas processes is a plus.
- Interest in sustainable energy development a plus.
Languages: Fluency in English required. French is a plus.
