Salary: GS-07: $51,543 (Step 01) to $67,010 (Step 10); GS-09: $63,048 (Step 01) to $81,961 (Step 10) NOTE: First time hires to the Federal Government are typically hired at the Step 01. MAJOR DUTIES: As a Management Analyst within the New York Water Science Center, some of your specific duties will include: Works directly with the New York Water Science Center (NYWSC) Quality and Integrity Branch Chief to meet deadlines and maintain compliance with data compilation goals established in the NYWSC Internal Technical Review Procedure documents. Uses Microsoft Office products (Lists, Word, Excel, etc.) and basic scripting skills (using R or similar) to compile, analyze, and present quality assurance data. Works directly with the NYWSC Quality Assurance Specialist and subject matter experts to coordinate technical reviews of project chiefs and field technicians. Assists Quality and Integrity Branch staff with the compilation of data and writing of the NYWSC Annual Internal Summary Report.
