Status: Internship
Department: Energy Solutions
Overview:
Plug has the ambition to make the green hydrogen revolution a reality today. Being part of our group is a unique opportunity to carry out projects that the world never contemplated before.
Plug has taken hydrogen and fuel cell technology from concept to commercialization, and is today the leading provider of comprehensive turnkey hydrogen fuel cell solutions, the largest buyer of liquid hydrogen in the world, and expects to become one of the largest producers of green hydrogen globally.
We are proud to be a part of Plug, dedicated to delivering top-tier hydrogen and fuel cell systems for both mobility and stationary power markets. So far, we have deployed over 70,000 fuel cell systems, more than 50MW of electrolysis in 2023 in Europe, and over 250 hydrogen refueling stations, dispensing more than 60 tons of hydrogen per day to our fuel cell customers. Plug is one of the few companies already constructing large-scale electrolysis plants. We built, own, and operate the largest PEM electrolysis plant in the world, and this year we will commission new production assets in the US and Europe.
In Europe, our team of over 300 employees is managing our activities from France, the Netherlands, Germany, and the whole of Europe. As we increase hydrogen demand with material handling solutions and on-road commercial vehicles, we experience firsthand the exponential growth of our business. The Group is developing green H2 production plants strategically located to cover key areas of demand while developing a reliable and cost-effective large-scale transportation network.
