Job Summary
As an Inside Sales Representative (Inside Energy Advisor) at Renu Energy Solutions, your role is to build trust and rapport with prospective customers through various channels like inbound calls, emails, web inquiries, chat, referrals and social media. It includes expanding knowledge through education about solar and renewable energy solutions to effectively guide customers. As a lead owner from intake to post installation, you’ll work closely with the Area Sales Managers to ensure optimal communication and high conversion rates.
This position demands representing the Renu brand house with expertise and a consultative approach to assist customers in making informed decisions. Collaboration with internal and external teams is vital to ensure seamless support and exceed customer expectations.
This position is a full-time, onsite position located at our corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This position may include limited local travel.
The Inside Energy Advisor reports to the Inside Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
- Building trust and rapport with prospective customers via phone calls, in-person meetings, email communications, text messages and online chat.
- Develop and improve your solar and renewable energy knowledge base in order to guide prospective solar and energy storage customers.
- This will be the front of the line representative for the brand “Renu Energy Solutions”, and as such, you will represent the brand with in-depth knowledge, the ability to answer their questions in a consultative way, guiding them to their intended outcome.
- Collaborate with all other internal and external departments within Renu, with a vision to support and exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
- Two years of inside sales, call center or customer service experience required; solar energy or relative industry experience a plus.
- Tech-savvy with a willingness to embrace system knowledge of CRMs, dialing services and calendar/territory/schedule management.
- Work with high integrity and with high ethical standards.
- Strong professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
