The Independent Office of Audits and Investigations is seeking a highly motivated individual to work as a Senior Management Auditor.
Under the supervision of the Supervising Management Auditor, the incumbent plans, organizes, and directs staff responsible for performing operational and performance audits of the California Department of Transportation and external entities that receive transportation funding. In addition, the incumbent is required to provide leadership, project management, guidance, coaching, supervision, and training of staff. Incumbent must be willing to travel. The position exists in Sacramento.

Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Senior Management Auditor exam. For those who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) and/or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions.
