Which tasks do you take over?
We are looking for a versatile Project Engineer to connect our technologies with those of our clients, particularly in the steel industry, and play a key role in driving our growth strategy.
In this dynamic role, you will take ownership of the entire project lifecycle—from proposal development through design and procurement to commissioning. Acting as the primary contact for our clients, partners, and internal teams, your main tasks will include:
Project Management: Developing, coordinating, and overseeing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Communication & Coordination: Managing internal and external communication with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
Technical Responsibility: Creating, evaluating, and adjusting technical specifications and leading cross-functional teams.
Quality and Risk Management: Ensuring deadlines, budgets, and HSE policies are met while identifying risks and optimization opportunities.
Reporting: Regularly presenting project status to internal and external stakeholders and documenting lessons learned for future projects.

You bring the professional expertise and personal passion needed to successfully execute challenging projects. Here’s what we expect:
Education & Experience:
A degree in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, mechatronics, thermodynamics, industrial processes, chemical engineering, or a related field.
Professional experience in mechanical and/or plant engineering, ideally in oil & gas, chemicals, nuclear, power, or steel industries (e.g., sintering plants, coke ovens, blast furnaces).
Knowledge of measurement and electrical engineering is a plus.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of relevant standards in the oil & gas and power plant industries, particularly thermal systems integration in the steel industry.
Proven experience in project development and project management; PMP certification is a plus.
Technical Tools:
Proficiency in project management software.
Experience with 3D CAD tools (e.g., Inventor, Navisworks) and Plant3D.
Familiarity with local permitting and regulatory processes.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a motivated, transparent work style.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
The ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Language Skills: Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
