Which tasks do you take over?
In this dynamic role, you will serve as the key interface between our technologies and our clients' systems, particularly in oil and steam-based processes. You will analyze client systems, design interfaces with our high-performance storage systems, and assist the team with daily technical challenges.
Perform mathematical and physical calculations involving various media, temperatures, and pressures.
Define and optimize thermodynamic processes and oversee process automation.
Develop complex systems integrating mechanical, thermal, control, and electrical engineering principles within custom software environments.
Review and develop procedures in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Produce process deliverables such as process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and functional specifications for thermal hardware.
Manage plant project costs and performance to achieve long-term goals, supporting business growth.
Address system challenges, including thermal load integration, equipment selection, sizing, control philosophies, and instrumentation requirements.
Conduct technical evaluations and sensitivity analyses to assess system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Analyze and interpret trends within complex datasets, translating insights into visually compelling dashboards and reports.
Conduct comprehensive performance analyses of thermal energy storage systems based on data from prototypes and ongoing operations.
What do you bring?
Master’s degree in Process, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Experience in designing plant systems involving hot air, steam, or oil.
Knowledge of power plant technology and relevant industry standards and regulations.
Familiarity with process management methods.
Experience with automation technology is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with tools such as MatLab Simulink or similar.
Experience with steam/superheated gas processing systems, furnace systems, fluid/chemical process systems, or industrial systems.
Familiarity with common programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, SQL, VBA, EES) for data manipulation and analysis.
Ability to adapt to a start-up environment and independently manage complex tasks and timelines.
