Internal Sales Representative – Renewable Energy

The Internal Sales Representative will manage and grow sales within an assigned client portfolio, proactively engaging with clients, identifying sales opportunities and providing exceptional customer service to drive revenue within our renewable energy division. This role combines sales acumen with the problem-solving mindset of a trusted advisor, focused on ensuring clients' success. Regular travel and attendance at industry conferences are part of our commitment to building strong, lasting customer relationships.
You’ll Support your Team by Performing the Following Key Tasks
- Create and maintain a strong culture in accordance with Campbell Scientific’s core ARCTIC values -- Accountability, Respect, Client-Centric, Teamwork, Innovation, Continuous Improvement.
- Respond to website and phone sales inquiries and generate sales quotes.
- Create detailed customer quotations
- Prepare comprehensive sales quotations and compile tender responses (commercial and technical).
- Forward promising (qualified) leads to sales engineers.
- Coordinate and send product and service pricing updates to customers.
- Ensure quality data entry in creating and updating customer records.
- Facilitate the handover process from sales to production
- Develop sales documentations and presentations
- Act as back-up for the Sales Team as needed.
Maintain and improve upon the following:

- Conversion ratio of quotes/web requests to orders.
- Monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales volume.
- Web request response time.
- Number of web requests completed.
- Order execution: Release to Production, Parts to Systems/Shipping, On-Time Ship.
- Facilitation of post order support for customers: Restocks, Repair, Technical Support, Quality, etc.
Skills we are looking for :-
- Education: Bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent experience in a technology-driven company.
- Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM and ERP systems, and skilled in problem-solving and client communication.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, self-motivated, and capable of both independent and team-based work.
- Experience: Inside sales experience preferred, particularly with Campbell Scientific products or technical sales.
