The Opportunity…
- Coordinate with utilities for approvals and scheduling for staff
- Speak with clients and schedule installations, service cases and inspections for regional construction staff
- Schedule inspections, main service panel upgrades, and meter releases with the utilities and jurisdictions.
- Assists in preparation of monthly departmental meetings
- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department by taking the initiative to identify potential roadblocks while creating solutions
- Always exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail
- Check installed job files to ensure completion status
- Use software systems such as Salesforce, Haystack, Paycom, Adobe, Google suite, etc. to help track and modify information and documents
- Remaining continuously invested in the development of Office Culture.
- Possesses the willingness to take on other tasks, as needed, to make solar happen for low-income families
- Support construction staff by updating salesforce (data entry), google drive, calendars, (app support), and quality control Site Capture photos
- Work across departments ensuring that all required paperwork is properly completed for jurisdiction inspections, inspections, and service cases.
- Manage a document containing the inspection requirements for the team
- Help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of GRID Central Valleys’ office operations by taking the initiative to identify potential roadblocks and then create solutions to manage and organize these area Provide general administrative support to the Construction department
What you need to bring to this role…
- Strong “customer service” skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Good writing skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to create and manage processes
- High degree of attention to detail and organization
- Analyzing information
- Ability to problem solve
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- “Can do” attitude
It would be good if you also had …
- 1 year of experience with project coordination
- Familiar with Salesforce or other CRM platform
- Previous experience in the construction industry or project management
- Data entry experience

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Hourly pay commensurate with experience within the pay band, plus the benefits below.
