JOB SUMMARY: The incumbent lead at least three full-time employees in performing a variety of duties associated with the collection, deposit, tracking, and expenditure of fee revenue and donations collected from the public under legal authorities such as the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act. This position is not eligble for telework. Open to the first 50 applicants or until 01/03/2025 whichever comes first. MAJOR DUTIES: The major duties of the Lead Recreation Fee Technician position include, but are not limited to the following: Provide current and accurate information and excellent customer service to park visitors. Collect appropriate fees at the park entrance station in accordance with established accountability guidelines for handling government funds. Conduct fee compliance checks for visitor payment. Provide technical and policy direction according to agency fee management. Lead permanent (career-seasonal) and temporary employees on a regular and recurring basis in which the highest subordinate grade level is GS-05.
