Solarbelt FairFuel

Solarbelt's missionSustainable aviation fuels (SAF) are needed to achieve the Paris climate protection goals in aviation. We are therefore looking for you to work with us to develop production facilities for sustainable aviation fuels, especially in the Global South, and to market our products. Solarbelt was founded in 2019 as a non-profit organisation by atmosfair and our primary goal is climate protection. With the world's first production plant for e-kerosene in Emsland, Germany, we are pioneers in the field of sustainable aviation, and winners of the German Sustainability Prize 2023. As part of this pioneering facility, we not only demonstrate the technical feasibility, but also proactively establish concepts in the areas of certification, sales and bringing sustainable fuel alternatives into circulation. An example of this is the atmosfair fairfuel standard, which was developed jointly with atmosfair. Together with the pioneers of green technologies, we are transforming the economy towards climate neutrality, cooperating with manufacturers and conducting research together with renowned institutes and universities. Our customers include the largest players in the European aviation sector. We use all the income we generate to implement new sustainable SAF projects and for the benefit of the local people. In our projects in various developing countries, we develop strategies for building SAF infrastructure together with local partner companies from the energy and biomass sector and identify places where systems can be built. We are moving step by step towards the production of sustainable aviation fuels in countries such as Indonesia, Brazil and the Ivory Coast.
