Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:	Skills, etc: - Good written and verbal communication skills - Interest in renewable energy - Ability to work as part of a team - Ability to do webpage editing, video editing, and/or social media is a plus - Some knowledge of renewable energy, environmental policy, or community engagement is a plus
Position Summary/Job Duties:	Work with UW-Madison Extension on RESET, a project to help Wisconsin communities, farmers, and landowners plan for large-scale renewable energy siting across Wisconsin in a way that supports community vitality and environmental quality. The internship is funded by a Reliable Energy Siting through Technical Engagement and Planning (R-STEP) grant from the US Department of Energy. Student tasks include the following: - Help develop and maintain maintain the project website - Help create and post event promotions including press releases and social media posts - Help develop training materials, including slide decks and fact sheets - Help research and develop educational resources related to renewable energy siting - Help coordinate meetings of the project partners (state agencies, environmental and farm organizations, tribes, and energy developers) - Help record, edit, and post event videos (optional based on skill set but desired) RESET website: go.wisc.edu/reset
