Do you have passion for data driven decision making within sustainability? In this role, you will be responsible for securing the automated CO2e calculations of all JYSK products, and working on product carbon reductions, and improving their environmental impact. You will be part of the Compliance & Quality department consisting of 22 dedicated colleagues, most of whom have their daily routine at the head office in Aarhus. Reduce the products and suppliers CO2e footprint. Securing that all factories have valid environmental audits, so we can utilise primary data. Support suppliers and buyers in sourcing more responsible materials and products so we work towards improving our environmental impact. Secure compliance with future Ecodesign requirements. Work on achieving the parts of our Science Based Targets initiative goals, which relate to the product and product supply chain. Collect and structure valuable sustainability related data on a large and complex supply chain, with the target of improving our environmental impact. You can read more about our department here WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING We are looking for a new colleague who: Has a good understanding of climate accounting (Scope 3, Category 1), product carbon footprint (PCF) and/or life cycle assessments (LCA). Has a relevant education or work experience with a focus on sustainability or data analysis. Can be a recent graduate or sit in a similar job today. Works structured and analytically and has strong skills in Excel, so you can break down substantial amounts of data and highlight the most important trends. Has a sincere interest in the green transition and possesses updated knowledge within the area of sustainability. Has a positive energy, impact and can make things happen.
