Shape the future of sustainable placemaking across Australia

At Frasers Property Australia, we believe that home is a feeling, and a place where community spirit matters. International in scale but local at heart, our reputation and legacy are built on 100 years of Australian placemaking. When you join us, you become part of an unwavering commitment to excellence, quality, and care.

Together, we create stronger, smarter, and happier neighbourhoods that are connected, diverse, sustainable, and beautiful. From large-scale mixed-use developments to world-class lifestyle precincts, everything we do is designed to enhance the way people live life together.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious, analytical, and purpose-driven Sustainability Coordinator to join our National Sustainability team based in NSW (Rhodes Head Office). Reporting directly to the Sustainability Manager, this role provides a national platform to help coordinate and deliver FPA’s ambitious Sustainability Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

In this highly collaborative role, you will be instrumental in translating progressive ESG strategies into real world outcomes across our residential and mixed-use development portfolios. From analysing carbon emissions and coordinating certifications to supporting project teams with technical guidance, you will act as a key champion for environmental resilience and sustainable innovation across our business.

How you will make an impact

Support the roll-out of our overarching ESG strategy and project-level sustainability plans, assisting development and investment teams to set, track, and achieve sustainability targets across the project lifecycle.

Coordinate end-to-end data collation, carbon accounting (operational and embodied emissions), and external benchmarking submissions (including GRESB, Green Star, ISSB), identifying opportunities to enhance data accuracy and process efficiency.

Partner closely with Development, Design, and Delivery teams to build technical tools, case studies, and training sessions that simplify complex sustainability standards and foster knowledge sharing across the business.

Keep your finger on the pulse of emerging sustainability technologies, circular economy initiatives, biodiversity frameworks, and rating tools (such as Green Star, NABERS, BASIX, NatHERS, and WELL) to identify forward-thinking opportunities for continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for someone who is collaborative, respectful, progressive, and real. You will also bring:

Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in a sustainability-focused role, ideally within the property, built environment, or engineering consultancy sectors.

Qualifications: A tertiary degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, Engineering, Architecture, Property Economics, or a related discipline.

Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of carbon emissions accounting and familiarity with industry rating tools (Green Star, NABERS, BASIX, WELL, or NatHERS). Experience with Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) or building performance modelling software (e.g., IES) is highly regarded.

Communication & Analysis: Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail in data management, combined with the ability to communicate technical environmental concepts simply and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.

Mindset: A proactive, self-motivated, and curious approach with an authentic commitment to environmental stewardship and driving measurable, long-term impact.

Together, we create…

As a property developer, we’re always creating. But it’s not just precincts and projects; we believe the employee experience is a valuable asset which needs planning, great design, and a lot of ongoing care. Together, we create:

Meaningful Work: A global and diverse business means endless opportunities to work on purpose-led projects that leave a lasting, positive environmental and social legacy.

Exciting Careers: Growth and learning opportunities, global pathways, and supportive leaders who actively invest in your professional capability.

A Place to Belong: A culture celebrated for being purpose-led, caring, and authentic, where every voice is respected and valued.

The Right Balance: Flexible, hybrid working frameworks, wellbeing initiatives, and company-wide 'Unplugged Days' designed to keep you feeling energized and balanced.

We offer a high-performance, professional environment where achievement is rewarded. We are proud to be a Work180 Endorsed Employer for all women, an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality, and a White Ribbon Accredited workplace.

Build a career that matters.
