Sustainability Specialist

OUR ROLE

At Fiskars Group, sustainability is at the core of how we design, source, and deliver our products. We are now looking for a Sustainability Specialist to join our QEHS team and help drive our environmental and climate agenda forward. In this role, you will work with data, collaborate across teams, and contribute to meaningful actions that support our long-term sustainability commitments and global impact.

This position is based in Espoo, Finland and reports to the Director, QEHS & Sustainability. The role is a full-time, 1-year fixed-term position (parental leave cover) and operates in a hybrid working model.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS

Responsibilities:

You will be part of the QEHS team within Business Area Fiskars, working closely with colleagues across sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and IT. The role plays an important part in ensuring high-quality sustainability data, supporting reporting, and enabling better environmental decision-making across global operations.

Support tracking and analysis of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions across the value chain.
Coordinate data collection and validation related to materials, energy, waste, and supplier sustainability.
Contribute to internal and external environmental reporting, including CDP and regulatory requirements.
Support reporting on packaging, waste, WEEE, and supplier sustainability topics.
Develop and improve data tools and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
Analyse sustainability data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Support implementation of environmental policies and evolving regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support emissions reduction and circularity initiatives.

WHO YOU ARE

Experience:

You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional who enjoys working with data and translating it into meaningful insights. You bring a hands-on approach, are comfortable collaborating across teams, and are motivated by contributing to sustainability goals in a global environment.

Minimum 4 years of experience in sustainability, environmental, or supply chain-related roles.
Strong understanding of greenhouse gas accounting, sustainability frameworks, or environmental reporting.
Experience working with sustainability data, including Scope 3 emissions reporting.
Background in manufacturing, sourcing, or supply chain environments is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities.
Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
Fluent in English; Finnish or other languages are considered an asset.
