We are now looking for an Environmental Advisor for one of our customers based in Forus/Stavanger.

Duration: ASAP - 31.12.2027

Deadline for applications: 27.05.2026

Responsibilities:

Responsible for follow-up of relevant government applications and permits related to drilling and development activities
Contribute to relevant risk- and chemical assessments
Support project activities within approved frameworks and concepts
Support in government correspondence
Provide consulting in energy management and emission reduction
Responsible for internal/external follow-up and reporting of relevant environmental parameters
Ensure the follow-up and exercise of duty of care in relation to suppliers and rig owners

Requirements:

Requires relevant higher university degree
Requires typically 5-10 years relevant experience
Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards
Requires extensive experience related to development of environmental impact assessments
The job requires high level of expertise and a thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry practices, Client's needs and general business conditions
Is in full command of the English and Norwegian language
