Monitor daily field operations to ensure compliance EHS regulations and company policies
Perform regular tunnel and surface inspections, including pre-shift walkthroughs, equipment checks, air quality sampling, and confined space protocols
Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventative action implementation
Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and toolbox talks with crews
Maintain EHS documentation, training records, and regulatory reports
Support emergency response preparedness and training exercises
Collaborate with superintendents, miners, and technicians to identify and mitigate job-specific risks

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in construction or heavy industrial EHS roles - tunneling, mining, or oil & gas preferred
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, MSHA (preferred), confined space, LOTO, and respiratory protection standards
Experience conducting field audits and writing JHAs, incident reports, and environmental compliance documentation

CSP, CHST, or equivalent certification is a plus
