The Role
The Solutions Manager will own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Energy One’s solutions portfolio, with an initial and significant focus on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) software offerings. The role is responsible for developing scalable, market-led solutions that optimise revenue, enhance user experience for control and reporting, and support participation in the National Electricity Market. This includes both established energy storage solutions and the design and delivery of bespoke or emerging solutions in response to evolving customer and market needs.
The Solutions Manager will work across commercial, technical, and operational domains to ensure Energy One’s solutions remain differentiated, extensible, and aligned to the company’s long-term product and growth strategy globally.

Requirements

Required

Demonstrated experience working with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and/or complex energy market solutions involving optimisation, trading, or operational decision support.
Experience owning a product, platform, or solution strategy, including delivery of both standardised and customer-specific solutions.
Understanding and appreciate of software development methodologies/lifecycles.
Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders (end users, developers, testers, project managers) to deliver solutions.
Demonstrated experience in managing direct reports, including setting priorities, overseeing workload, conducting performance reviews, and supporting the professional development of team members.

Desirable

Experience designing or delivering bespoke software solutions for energy market participants.
Exposure to emerging energy technologies or new market participation models.
