Responsibilities

Being responsible for the holistic conceptual design of E.ON Hydrogen and Green Gases related solutions.
Together with our project managers iterate with E.ON customers to understand the technical, commercial, and regulatory challenges / requirements; translating them into a functional, reliable and cost-effective solution.

Based on our customer requirements, designing technical solution concepts that include the following:
Conceptual design and high-level operational concept
H&Mb
Dimensioning of the main system components.
Detailing the solution Capex & Opex.

The conceptual design shall be optimized also from a regulatory and energy economic standpoint. The final target is to decarbonize E.ON customers' footprint with a cost-effective & reliable solution.

Managing external resources to provide conceptual design, pre-feasibility designs, basic and detailed design.
Drafting technical specifications for equipment supply and engineering services.

Your profile

You have a degree in physics, mathematics, mechanical & chemical engineering.
You gained experience in Energy Generation/Transformation and Hydrogen/ Ammonia production/transformation/usage.

Understanding energy economics and regulatory framework within the energy intensive industry and transportation sector.
In addition, you ideally have experience with thermodynamic simulation as well as energy economic optimization software.
You can illustrate, explain and document complex technical issues (Power Point and Excel) to management and communicate with external suppliers and service providers.
You enjoy intensive, open communication with customers and colleagues and the development of innovative solutions in a team
You are a team player and have the ability to efficiently allocate your time in parallel projects

You are willing to travel for customer- and project meetings
You communicate fluently in English.
