Welcome to the Bay of Plenty Civil Defence & Emergency Management (CDEM) Group. The Bay of Plenty CDEM Group is responsible for the co-ordination of Civil Defence and Emergency Management services across the seven councils. Keeping communities safe and prepared to respond and recover from emergencies, the group website offers advice, information, resources and access to a suite of alerting tools to keep you prepared whatever the situation.
