About

After spending almost a decade as a wildland firefighter, or forestry technician, in the federal government and transitioning to the private sector, where I launched my own company, I have come to the understanding these are two sides of the same coin. The distinction between firefighter and technician is important; the latter is involved in wildlife, recreation, education, and fire suppression and mitigation, while the former has a narrower scope.
Though some of my duties and responsibilities have changed, my mission was always the same: to protect the lands and open spaces for myself, my family, and my future children through unremitting passion and dedication.
