About
I acquired my Bachelor of Science in chemistry at the University of California, Merced (UCM) and with my extensive experience in operating various analytical instruments and performing assays and my broad knowledge in data analysis and acquisition software, I am confident in my ability to contribute to your team and advance the goals of your organization.
Over my 4 years working in the biotech field, I have gained proficiency in operating a wide range of analytical instruments as well as performing a number of analytical procedures and assays, including capillary electrophoresis (ProteinSimple Maurice, Beckman PA800), Agilent and Vanquish/U3000 HPLC's (RP, SEC, affinity titer), UV-Vis (NanoDrop and SoloVPE), SDS-PAGE, kit-based ELISA (residual HCP and Ligand), organic molecule separation, and analysis of organic molecules via proton and C¬13 NMR. This diverse experience has allowed me to effectively analyze and interpret complex data, ensuring accurate and reliable results. Moreover, I have conducted forced degradation studies to identify degradants and qualify stability-indicating methods, showcasing my expertise in developing robust analytical methodologies. I am also well-versed in data analysis and acquisition software such as Chromeleon, Agilent OpenLab, Gen 5, Softmax Pro, and Compass iCE3, enabling me to efficiently handle large datasets and generate comprehensive reports.
Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated leadership qualities by training and mentoring research and lab associates on analytical procedures, techniques, and standard scientific excellence. Furthermore, I have successfully developed forced degradation studies, supported process development, and participated in critical reagent inventory management, showcasing my ability to contribute to various stages of the research and development process. Some notable accomplishments include my role as the supply chain point of contact for the Abzena AMD Lab, where I facilitated shipping, forecasting, receiving, and distribution using cold chain management systems and at Tanvex where I researched, designed, and rolled out their FreezerPro inventory program for multiple departments. Additionally, I have authored Standard Operating Procedures and analytical test methods, copy-edited controlled documents and reports, and performed and optimized in-process RP-HPLC and affinity purification.
I firmly believe that my expertise, leadership abilities, and passion for scientific inquiry and learning make me an ideal candidate and I am confident that the skills I have acquired as a scientific researcher will enable me to make significant contributions to ongoing research initiatives while fostering a dynamic and collaborative research environment and uplifting work culture. I welcome the opportunity to discuss my qualifications further and would be happy to elaborate on how my expertise aligns with your organizational objectives. I look forward to the possibility of meeting in person to discuss potential opportunities.
