About
I work with local governments in South America to help them measure and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and design climate action plans. I coordinate the activities of ICLEI Global's international cooperation projects, such as the SEEG system that estimates the total and municipal GHG emissions in Brazil.
I have a MSc. in Chemical Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo, where I researched the design of integrated processes for CO2 capture and conversion. I published a paper on the environmental performance of alternative routes for the synthesis of poly(propylene/ethylene oxide) glycol using CO2 as a feedstock. I apply my analytical skills and life cycle assessment (LCA) techniques to compare the environmental impacts of different processes and products. I am passionate about conserving our planet for future generations and building a more equal, plural, and welcoming world. I am a highly committed, hard-working, and result-oriented person who is not afraid of any challenge that may arise.
