I am Işıl, a recognized expert deeply committed to sustainability and environmental impact. My professional journey commenced as a sustainability consultant, which provided the foundation for my subsequent endeavors.
As a Sustainability Consultant, my path led me to Mazars Denge. Here, I played a pivotal role in offering strategic guidance to businesses, enabling them to achieve their sustainability aspirations and reduce their environmental footprint. This role facilitated the enrichment of my knowledge of sustainability practices across diverse industries. Furthermore, I had the privilege to engage in the TÜSİAD Mentor program, opening doors to influential figures in the corporate world. It's worth noting that I am also ISO 14064 certified, with a proficiency in carbon emission calculations.
Beyond my consultancy role, I've carved out a prominent presence as a green influencer, especially on TikTok. My content focuses on making sustainability concepts relatable to a broad audience, bridging the gap between individuals and environmental awareness. My background in Industrial Product Design has equipped me with a design thinking mindset and innovative problem-solving skills, skillfully integrating sustainability into the design process.
My corporate experiences served as a springboard for an ambitious project I initiated, known as "Plastic Lab." This initiative not only capitalizes on my extensive knowledge of plastic materials but also showcases my capability to transform discarded plastic into molded products. Moreover, my expertise extends to producing recycled filament from PET bottles for 3D printers.
I've also served as a workshop facilitator in various initiatives, including "Devridaim Atölye" and "RePatch," where I've had the privilege of sharing my expertise in sustainability and plastic recycling, fostering real change within the community.
My diverse experiences have stoked my passion for contributing to sustainability and environmental impact, whether on an individual or corporate scale.
