We are recruiting for a well-established specialist mechanical engineering company based in Pretoria East. This business operates within the industrial sector, delivering highly technical mechanical solutions to a wide range of clients.

They are looking for a Marketing Specialist who can translate complex engineering concepts into clear, professional and compelling marketing content that supports business growth.

Duties & Responsibilities

This is not a generic marketing role.

You will work closely with engineers to understand highly technical information and turn it into client-friendly content that showcases the company’s expertise and strengthens its brand presence.

Your role will include:

Drafting and editing brochures, company profiles and case studies
Creating engaging website content
Managing and growing the company’s social media presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, newsletters, industry forums)
Translating technical information into compelling marketing messaging
Supporting tender documentation and business development initiatives
Coordinating marketing material for client visits and exhibitions
Assisting with basic design work where possible (an outsourced designer is available)

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
Minimum 4 years’ marketing experience within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong technical writing ability
Experience with website content management and basic SEO principles
Social media management experience
Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Package & Remuneration
