Your Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Outdoor Education Instructor to join the staff of Chaverim Outdoor Education and Environment Centre. This is a term-time (38hpw) continuing position, with the commencement to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

The Outdoor Education Instructor will work under the guidance of the Outdoor Education Centre Director, ensuring the effective operation of programs at Chaverim Outdoor Education and Environment Centre. This role involves maintaining equipment management systems and facilitating a variety of outdoor activities tailored to students, visiting schools, and corporate visitors.

You will play a key role in program development, implementation, and evaluation while promoting safety, confidentiality, and respect within the educational environment.

The successful applicant will have:

The ability to adapt and be flexible within a dynamic educational setting.
Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership (or equivalent)

Mandatory Requirements

A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position.
