The Head of HSE is responsible for ensuring that UNN adheres to current health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as approved codes of practice and guidelines related to service delivery and employment. They develop, implement, and oversee strategies to create and maintain a workplace that is healthy, safe, and environmentally sustainable.

â¢ Performs impact assessments to identify, evaluate, and minimize the organisationâs environmental risks and financial costs

â¢ Ensures consistent implementation of the organisationâs health and safety policy and management systems across all departments

â¢ Mentors and coaches team members, contributing to their personal and professional growth

â¢ Serves as the primary contact for government agencies and authorities concerning health and safety issues

â¢ Leads Drill Lead emergency preparedness drills across all UNN premises, addresses any identified gaps following the exercises, and provides a detailed report
