About Our Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you are accountable for the Health & Safety performance of our Kinrise Biscuits sites, as well as supporting implementation of compliance and review of capital projects on site. This is not your routine Health & Safety role – come enjoy a diverse and dynamic role within a supportive team where you’ll enjoy the autonomy to drive a broad agenda across the site.

About you

You will be a highly motivated Health Safety and Environment Manager with exceptional interpersonal skills who can confidently interact with and influence all levels of the business, to drive the Safety agenda.

You will have a Bachelor degree in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Science etc) with a Cert IV or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.

Your previous Safety roles have been in a manufacturing environment, and you have a working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (OHS Act) and other relevant legislation. You will have dealt with regulatory bodies such as WorkSafe as well as have experience in Safety Management Systems and Safety Auditing.

Your experience in training and developing team members in Safety practices, driving safety committee effectiveness and managing return to work programs, make you a well rounded Safety Professional.
