Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine the organization's sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and values.
Identify key sustainability priorities and opportunities for improvement.
Lead the implementation of sustainability initiatives and action plans across the organization.
Monitor and track progress towards sustainability goals and targets.
Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and social regulations and reporting requirements.
Prepare and submit sustainability reports to regulatory bodies and stakeholders, such as investors and customers.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
Conducting risk assessments and identifying potential hazards in the workplace.
Providing HSE training to employees and promoting a culture of safety.
Ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.

Person Specifications

A bachelor's degree / Higher National Diploma in a relevant field such as Occupational Health & safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Sustainability Management or Hospitality Management.
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a star class hotel.
Certifications related to health & safety, environmental management and sustainability.
Excellent skills in both verbal and written communication.
Proficiency in computer literacy.
